Project description

These regulations apply to all trades and their documents and markings. At the start of the project, these are made available to the planning departments and, if necessary, adapted / extended for the project. At the respective project start, reference is made to a version of the EIK and the file release. It can be permanently retrieved in this status and compared with the current status.

The current status of the file naming convention is documented here. You can find the older version via the version FNC 1.4 (2024-02) EN.

ATTENTION: The projects Rt141b-Rt144a-Rt146 and Rt315-Rt842-Rt843 still use the old version.

    • EIK = Equipment identification key
    • FNC = File naming convention
  • Structure (standards)
    • Installation site (++) = This indicator block is used to identify local locations.
    • Mounting location (+) = This indicator block is used to identify the installation locations of technical objects.
    • Functional assignment (==) = This indicator block is used for function-related structuring from the point of view of the interaction (dynamic effect) of technical objects. It is used to identify relationships between functions, technical equipment and operating resources.
    • Function (=) = This indicator block is used for function-related structuring from the perspective of task and purpose (static tasks) of the technical objects.
    • Product (-) = This indicator block is used for product-oriented labeling of electrical and mechanical objects.
  • Terms (standards)
    • Aspect = Specified way of viewing an object.
    • Identifikator = Attribute that is assigned to an object in order to distinguish it unmistakably from other objects in a defined scope.
    • Referenzkennzeichen = Identifier of a specific object, formed in relation to the system of which the object is part, based on one or more aspects of the system.
    • Structure = Organization of relations among objects of a system describing constituency relations (consist-of/is-a-part-of).
